Overview
Renovating the top floor of a 100 years old building? The challenge presides over how to maximize the apartment, by making it modern, but simultaneously respecting the character and work of the original structure.
The apartment's original layout from the beginning of the 20th century did not fully meet today's standards for modern living and required a complete renovation. The layout adaptation created three spacious rooms with the kitchen in one of them.
The interior design wanted to emphasize the history of the house, add the modern spirit and thus optimally create a balance of the space. We focused on preservation and renovation of the original elements, such as the floor, the doors, and the cabinet under the sink.
